Privacy Policy

Depending on what you use, the following may be collected:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Your birth date, birth time and birth location, where these are part of the Alignment service you have chosen.
• Your questionnaire answers, intention, chosen focus and any questions you bring.
• Booking information such as the service, date, time and format.
• For a mobile Reiki visit, the address of the visit. This is collected securely after payment and is used only to attend your appointment.
• Correspondence with Aimee about your session.
• A recording of a video session only where you have separately consented to it. Recording is optional and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time.
• Transcripts, working notes and the personalised report prepared for you.
• Transaction information such as the amount paid, any promotion code used and the payment status.
• Basic technical information generated when you visit the site, such as general usage and security logs.

Please do not send detailed health history. It is not needed and is not requested.

• To take and manage your booking and to run the practice day to day.
• To process payment and apply any discount or promotion code.
• To deliver your Alignment Snapshot, Alignment Session or Aligned Energy Healing.
• To prepare your personalised guidance report.
• To send confirmations, reminders, reports and replies to your questions.
• To support your safety and Aimee's safety, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
• To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and this site does not receive or store full card numbers. Stripe handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Trusted providers are used to run this practice, and some of them store or process information outside New Zealand. In general terms these cover website hosting and the database, email delivery, payment processing, video calls, transcription, and AI-assisted tools used to help organise or draft written material. Providers are only given the information they need for their role, and are expected to protect it and use it only for that purpose.

AI tools may assist Aimee to organise notes or draft parts of a personalised report. Aimee reads, edits and approves every report before it is sent. No decision about you is made automatically by a machine, and no report is sent without Aimee's review.

Reasonable steps are taken to protect your information, including access controls and reputable providers. No online service can promise perfect security, so this policy does not claim it.

Information is kept only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires, and is then deleted or de-identified. Recordings are kept only as long as needed to prepare your report unless you ask otherwise.

You may ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, and ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong. Email hello@thealignmentcollective.net and your request will be responded to as soon as reasonably possible.

Your information is never sold. It is not shared for someone else's marketing.

If something about your privacy concerns you, please raise it with Aimee first at hello@thealignmentcollective.net. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version.
